This morning started out with a lab, a continuation of last night’s tide pools lab. We looked at the difference between what invertebrates are found in the pool at night vs. during the day. It was a GREAT day and we caught buckets full of urchins, crabs, sea slugs, sponges, sea cucumbers…..
Josie and her sea cucumber
Ian and his brittle star
We were then able to snorkel at the most beautiful beach – Puako.
Hawaiiana lesson tonight was myths and legends.
Looks like everybody is having a great time. Jake, please enroll at the University of Hawaii so we can come to visit over Christmas breaks.aw
